Acodeco detects possible hoarding of the 25-pound gas tank in Veraguas

Through a citizen complaint, the Regional Administration of the Authority for Consumer Protection and Defense of Competition (Acodeco) of Veraguas detected that a fuel station, which sold 25-pound gas, refused to sell to consumers.

According to the Acodeco verifiers in Veraguas, who went to this station, they verified that there were full gas tanks, but the personnel

he refused to sell them under the pretext that they were “out of sale”.

Faced with this situation, Acodeco drew up an anomaly report due to possible hoarding, since the product is visible to buyers.

Acodeco remains alert throughout the country, because supposedly due to the shortage of one of the brands of liquefied gas, there may be some irregularities such as hoarding and alteration of the price subsidized by the National Government.

Acodeco urged that in the event of any irregularity, for the sale of 25-pound liquefied gas, they can file their complaint through the virtual assistant Sindi, through WhatsApp and Telegram 6330-3333, the AcodecoPma social network accounts on Facebook, Twitter, and the website.
