The prosecution, with the support of the anti-corruption police, raided the morning of Saturday, January 8, properties linked to the former secretary general of the Presidential Office of Pedro Castillo, Bruno Pacheco, investigated for alleged influence peddling and other crimes.
As reported by TV Perú Noticias, the proceedings began at approximately 6 am in two buildings, the home of Pacheco Castillo in the Rímac district and in an office located on the fifth floor of a building in block 8 of Av. Reducto, in Miraflores.
Personnel from the anti-corruption prosecutor’s office and around twenty police officers entered the latter building where no incidents were recorded to facilitate their entry.
Bruno Pacheco, the former secretary of Pedro Castillo, is being investigated for alleged pressure on the promotion of the Armed Forces by the Attorney General’s Office.
Likewise, the anti-corruption prosecutor’s office is investigating him for allegedly having participated in negotiations to favor companies linked to Karelim López in bids for Provías Nacional.
