With an injury to one of his arms and blows to his body, this is how Elmer Jaldín was left, the young man who was hit by a four wheels when riding the motorcycle. The motorized driver fled without providing first aid.
The accident occurred in the fourth ring road and radial 13, at an average of 8:30 last Tuesday (October 4); however, the person affected -until the early hours of this Thursday- failed to file a complaint with the Police, despite the fact that on his own he sought to collect some evidence so that they can find the driver who hit him.
Fortunately, security cameras in the area recorded the incident. The images show how a black vehicle collides with the motorcyclist, which ends up lying on the ground. Later it is observed that the driver of the vehicle parks and gets out, but according to the victim he ends up fleeing.
The victim was left with a 10-day bar.
Faldín asks the driver to appear and seek a conciliation and that he take responsibility for the damages, since due to the injuries from the accident ended with 10 days of impediment.
“If I had hit him I would not have left him like that, but he was the one who hit me and left me aside and left. It was worth it. I would like my motorcycle to be replaced“said the victim.
He pointed out that on Wednesday he went to the offices of the Traffic Police to file the complaint, but the officers did not receive the demand and asked him to return on Monday. “I went to report providing some evidence to the Police, but they told me to go during the 24 hours of the accident and finally, to return only on Monday, “he claimed.
For his part, the Director of Traffic, Colonel Roberto Porcel, upon learning of the case, indicated that you do not have to wait 24 hours to file your claim and apologized to the affected party, in time to report the start of the investigations.
“We have made contact with this person so that he appears and the investigations begin. The case has already been opened accordingly and we are going to base ourselves on the preliminary information that we have and We will check the security cameras to find the person responsible“said the police chief.
