Crews from the Government of the Capital District (GDC) arrived at Libertador Avenue, direction El Bosque exit, Caracas, to clear the road of a fallen tree due to the torrential rains, reported the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, through his Twitter account.
“Our teams immediately arrived at Av. Libertador, direction El Bosque exit to clear the road, motivated by the fall of a tree, they will also collect debris to keep the area safe,” Fernández published.
Earlier, the Ministry for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace reported that the Center for Coordination and Emergency Control of Disasters (Cenaced) is permanently alert to the rainfall that is recorded throughout the country.
According to the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (Inameh), these rains are associated with tropical wave 41, which has been in the center of the country since early Thursday morning.
