José Pío Tamayo, who was born on March 4, 1898 in El Tocuyo, in the state of Lara, is considered a benchmark of revolutionary militancy for his unwavering struggle for the social transformations of his time, reports the AVN portal.
He was jailed for seven years. In 1935, already in very serious health, he was released and died in Barquisimeto on October 5 of that year.
On the other hand, in the AN session, the parliamentarians will continue the second discussion of the Draft Law for the Reform of the Decree with Rank, Value and Force of Law of the Insurance Activity.
In the first part of the second discussion, the Venezuelan parliament agreed to modify articles 9, 11, 17 and 21 of the current law, and eliminate articles 12 and 18.
This Thursday’s session is scheduled for the Protocol Chamber of the Federal Legislative Palace, in Caracas.
