The Ministry of Production (Produces), through the National Fisheries Health Agency (Sanipes), announced that it will implement a computer system that generates quarterly alerts on budget execution and issues personalized reports, helping to make management teams more effective.
The tool that the health authority will apply, called “Maskay”, was created and put into practice since 2019 by the National Institute of Child Health (INSN) of San Borja.
“maskay” It is a Quechua word that in Spanish means “search”. The aforementioned application generates signalized alerts on budget execution and is very useful for those responsible for budget programs to make better decisions.
Currently, several public entities use this computer system, which has been recognized as a Good Practice in Public Management by Ciudadanos al Día because it contributes to carrying out an adequate budget execution with spending quality and transparency for all to see.
The executive president of Sanipes, Pedro Saravia Almeyda, considered that the application is of great utility for planning and budget execution of the entity. “Mutual support between State institutions is very important for the good of the country”assured.
The INSN of San Borja will provide assistance, technical and functional support in the implementation and use of the digital tool, likewise, it will provide a technical manual and the source codes for the adjustments, corrections and/or resolution of incidents that it requires to be carried out sanipes.
