Official press charges Ulyk Anello: “He yelled, insulted, asked the president to resign”

Ulyk Anello, Arleen Rodríguez Derivet

MIAMI, United States. – Arleen Rodríguez Derivet, deputy director of the “Round Table” program and spokesperson for the Cuban regime, lashed out this Wednesday against actor Ulyk Anello, who recently called for the resignation of Miguel Díaz-Canel due to the energy crisis that the island is going through.

In his podcast “Chapeando Bajito” and without mentioning Anello’s name, Derivet said of the actor: “He yelled, he insulted, he asked that the president resign, that he be arrested and expelled from the country and, since nobody did, he went to the airport and from there who knows where”.

The official spokeswoman also cited Guerrero Cubano, a pro-government youtuber linked to State Security, who would have informed her about Anello’s alleged trip to Cancun without his daughters, “in the name of whom he asked the president to resign if he did not They put on the light.”

In the same chapter of his podcast, Derivet also charged against the Cubans who have demonstrated in the streets of the island, mainly in Havana, to demand the restoration of electricity, food and freedom.

“There is an unacceptable claim: the one that launches offenses without reason, rudeness without limits, accusations without arguments, absurd demands that they put on the light even if it is not being generated,” he said.

Last Thursday, Anello attacked Miguel Díaz-Canel in two videos posted on his Instagram account, after three days of blackout.

“Here I have been without power for three days,” said the actor in the first of his videos. “Díaz-Canel, with you, my brother. Do you have food because the rams of pin… those who put you as president? My children are running out of food. When the food I have there rots, I’m going to put it on the door of the Council of State”, he warned.

The actor also asked Díaz-Canel to resign. “You don’t solve anything. Where are the many millions that were donated to you to fix the thermoelectric pin… the one that doesn’t work? Where are they? Never seen this in life. A lot of muelita, a lot of blah blah blah and you don’t solve anything. Just leave already,” he requested.

In the second video, Anello suggested that he did not fear the consequences of his words. “Now this is so that they come looking for me, Special Brigades, everyone. They are going to have to kill me or throw me out of this country because I am not going to shut up anymore,” he said.

“Pay me the ticket and I’ll go and I won’t bother you anymore. Pay the ticket to all the Cubans who want you to leave now, to resign now. How long will your disrespect be? (…) This system does not work, my brother, it does not work. Already. He resigns. Go to hell. Hand this over,” he insisted.

Finally, he said that his children’s food was rotting due to the blackout that occurred after Hurricane Ian passed through the West of the Island. “You are not going to return it to me [la comida]. My sister has screwed up enough to send it to me because with the shit you pay here you can’t buy it, “she finished.
