The expectation is growing before the start of the second phase talks of the dialogue table, which is expected to begin this Thursday, with the participation of the various sectors of the National Government, trade unions and economic groups in the country, the latter who had requested to participate of the agreements, after not being included in the negotiations.
In this sense, the president of the National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP), Rubén Castillo Gil, indicated this morning that they want to participate in a dialogue with rules, democratic, equality in the number of parties at the table, agree on the agenda and establish mechanics to determine the figure of the facilitator.
“We are concerned that in phase 1 there were a series of disqualifications, attitudes that border on the political and ideological itself and there was no participation with a spirit of building a path to improve the conditions of the country,” he said.
He stressed that the productive sector has always been willing to contribute to dialogue exercises, preserving the values of democracy.
“We are willing to talk, what cannot be is to say that what happened in phase 1 and the conclusions reached are immovable, that seems to me to be undemocratic,” he said.
He stressed that they have approaches that they do not intend to impose, but to debate from rationality and conviction.
