Prosecutor Virginia Sigona, from Cologne, sentenced a woman as criminally responsible perpetrator of “repeated crimes of rape” to a 12-year-old boy, his daughter’s classmate in 6th grade.
He was sentenced to nine years in prison.
As reported by the Public Prosecutor’s Office on its website, the students became friends, so he stayed “several nights” to sleep at his house. When that happened, the victim slept in the same room as the now condemned and, in this context, sexual abuse occurred, details the Public Ministry.
The unveiling took place in a medical consultation; then a multidisciplinary team from the health provider intervened.
“The Prosecutor’s Office used the following evidence in court: victim’s statement received through advance evidence, statement from the victim’s parents, statement from the doctor, the social worker and the treating psychologist, psychological expertise of the victim, psychological expertise and psychiatric, as well as the cell phones of the now condemned, among others, ”reports the website.
In addition, the prosecutor relieved specific aggravating circumstance that the victim is a minor.
Meanwhile, it was also arranged suspension in the exercise of parental authority or custody. The sentenced person was also disqualified from exercising public and private functions in the educational area, health and all those that involve direct dealings with children and adolescents, people with disabilities and elderly people in a situation of dependency, for a period of 10 years.
Finally, the sentence includes the patrimonial reparation for the victimfor an amount equivalent to 12 minimum wages.
