As part of the debate taking place in the Chamber of Deputies on the Budget 2023this Tuesday began the presentations by ministers and government officials.
In a long day, in the Budget and Treasury Committee of the Lower House, the national officials delivered details of the Projectand about what will be done in each of the portfolios with the Budget 2023.
With that, The first batch of exhibitions began that are part of the schedule established by the president of the Chamber of Deputies, Cecilia Moreau, to debate the Budget 2023, in order to deliver an opinion between the end of October and the beginning of November.
Among the exhibitors were the ministers of Science, Technology and Innovation, Daniel Filmus; of Education, Jaime Perzcyk; Environment and Sustainable Development, Juan Cabandie; the Secretaries of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries Juan José Bahillo; of Production, José Ignacio De Mendiguren; of Energy, Flavia Royón, and the president of the Central Bank, Miguel Ángel Pesce.
Likewise, some of the topics of debate were: inflation, a bonus for informal workers, forest fires and the wetlands law. After the discussion, the ruling party was confident that the project will be approved.
For this, the Government sent several of its ministers to present the report of each of their portfolios, in order to respond to the demands of the opposition to be able to open the debate and not “do everything in a hurry” as happened last year with the project presented by Martín Guzmán.
It should be remembered that the Executive Power foresees a 2% increase in GDP (Gross Domestic Product) growth, a deficit of 1.9% and average inflation of 60%which would be in accordance with the reality of the country, according to the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa.
How is the discussion going?
For this Wednesday, it is expected that the Defense Minister, Jorge Taiana, and the Customs officials, Guillermo Michel, and AFIP (Federal Administration of Public Revenues), Carlos Castagneto, will make the presentation of the Project.
Then it will be the turn of the labor ministers, Claudio Moroni; of Transportation, Alexis Guerrera; of Public Works, Gabriel Katopodis; of Health, Carla Vizziotti; and of Social Development, Juan Zabaleta.
