Monkeypox in Bolivia: there are 105 active cases

Health confirmed 105 active monkeypox patients in the country this Tuesday, October 4, with Santa Cruz in the lead, with 191 confirmed in totalfollowed by Cochabamba with 10, La Paz with 7, Chuquisaca and Potosí both with 1 and the rest of the departments with 0 confirmed cases.

Today 3 new cases were registered in total and 105 recovered.

54 confirmed cases of covid-19 were registered, with a total of 1,108,472 infections and 1,054,392 recovered cases in the country. The health portfolio indicated that the active cases in total are 31,843 and the total number of deaths remained at 22,237 people deceased.​

To date, 15,125,894 doses have been applied to the population.

The report issued by the National Directorate of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health and Sports, establishes that the national accumulated number of recovered patients up to this day amounts to 1,954,392.

The new infections this day are: Santa Cruz 24, Cochabamba 10, La Paz 11, Chuquisaca 2, Tarija 2, Potosí 1, Oruro 5, Beni 0 and Pando 2.

Similarly, the report establishes that the death of people during this day due to the virus was not regretted and the fatality rate so far reaches 0.1%.
