The heinous murder of a five-year-old boy at the hands of his own father has shocked Colombia. And it is that Gabriel Enrique González Cubillos, who was captured this Tuesday, suffocated his son as revenge against her ex-partner and mother of the minor because she had another relationship.
This Tuesday, October 2, it was confirmed that the lifeless body of the child was found in a hotel in Melgar, municipality of Tolima where the man went to commit the murder. As more details of the crime are known, the situation becomes more macabre.

The minor’s mother received a message from the man telling her to look for a USB that he had left in the bathroom, in which he had left some videos to complain about his relationship. Even when they were desperately looking for the child, González sent a message to the mother telling her that she had murdered the child, in addition to sending her a photo.
The man, who is 50 years old, was with the child’s mother for about six years, but due to difficulties, they chose to separate, which would have triggered the man to develop frustration and harass and verbally abuse her all the time. Despite this, the ICBF allowed him to continue with the visits, and it was on one of those visits that they did not return him and took him to Melgar to commit the crime.
Since the facts were known, the repudiation on social networks has been total, and images have even been revealed of the alleged murderer that most outraged people since he showed himself as a religious person, even taking photos with a rosary in the background.
