Venezuela reported 10 cases of coronavirus this Monday, October 3, reported the Minister of Communication, Freddy Ñáñez.
According to information published on Twitter, there are 9 due to community transmission and 1 imported case.
The community cases are located in the following states: Trujillo 2, Yaracuy 2, Caracas 2, Miranda 2, Portuguesa 1.
In this order, Trujillo today presents the highest number of infections in 1 of its 20 municipalities: Trujillo 2.
He also indicated that the only imported case is 1 woman from Türkiye, with entry through La Guaira.
“We reached a total of 544,884 confirmed cases, 780 active cases and 538,288 recovered people, which represents 99% of infections,” he explained.
To date there are 337 patients who are asymptomatic, 317 with mild acute respiratory failure, 84 with moderate acute respiratory failure and 42 in the Intensive Care Unit.
“Today we do not report deaths in our country, we maintain the figure of 5,816 in the national territory,” he concluded.
