Tomorrow, Tuesday at 8:30 a.m., the Sentencing Court made up of Manual Aguirre, Rossana Maldonado and Lourdes Peña convened the parties to begin the oral and public trial against Gerardo Stadecker, accused of having killed his wife in 2017.
The trial is scheduled for October 4, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18, 19, 20, 24, 25, 27, 28 and 31, in which Stadecker’s responsibility in the death of his wife Sabrina Breuer. For different reasons, this trial has already been postponed three times and tomorrow the trial will begin.
For the prosecution, there are concrete elements that show that the man beat his wife to death in December 2017. A forensic study indicates that Sabrina died of a strong blow to the chest at the level of the heart, which caused a cardiac tamponade that finally caused death.
The case occurred on December 17, 2017 when Stadecker called the police and said that he arrived at his home in the Mburucuyá neighborhood of Asunción and found his wife dead.
First, it was wanted to be passed off as a natural death, but then the autopsy showed the complete opposite and Gerardo Stadecker was arrested, prosecuted and will now face an oral trial.
