Within the framework of the general vote on Accountability, in the Senate, the pro-government legislator Jorge Gandini stated that far from being zero spending, it contains an important allocation of resources for education, for educational reform (Primary and Media) and the University of the Republic, including the UTEC.
The white legislator assured that the Accountability project, already approved in Deputies, includes favorable changes for teaching, because there are more people studying. In this sense, he highlighted the expansion of tertiary education to the interior.
salary recovery
On the other hand, Gandini affirmed that the Rendering of Accounts proposes a “salary recovery”, which had already been foreseen with the Confederation of Organizations of State Officials (COFE), although there are still UDELAR officials.
He also highlighted that increases were added to the salary recovery for police and military, with money also for social laws.
“There is a good contribution to health, in the State Health Services Administration (ASSE), and in military health. We are even financing palliative care, which is still a law that was not approved, but it will have the money”, said the nationalist parliamentarian.
