Recovery of the Miranda station of the Caracas Metro advances

The recovery and modernization process is advancing in the Miranda station of the Caracas Metro system, the Minister of People’s Power for Transportation, Ramón Velásquez Araguayan, reported on Monday.

As part of the Metro Plan Moves With You, Velásquez Araguayan, indicated through the social network Twitter, that the cleaning and adaptation of the underground terminal is being carried out.

“The modernization, cleaning and adaptation of the Miranda station of the Caracas Metro are advancing, complying with the beautification plan issued by the workers’ president, Nicolás Maduro,” he specified.

The Metro Plan Moves With You, was launched by the National Executive for the comprehensive recovery of the Caracas Metro system, by the different institutions of the Venezuelan State.

The plan includes the recovery of the escalators and the creation of the User People’s Committees.

In addition, President Maduro approved 150 million dollars for the recovery of the metro and another 16 million euros for investment in rail.
