The National Civil Protection System (Sinaproc) continues to search for Mr. Virgilio Pitty, who disappeared in the waters of the Sixaola River in the Mesa district, in the border area between Panama and Costa Rica.
Harlo Whyles, head of Sinaproc in Bocas del Toro, indicated that the disappearance began on Saturday, but it was not until yesterday, Sunday, October 2, at 4:00 in the afternoon, when relatives reported the incident.
A source reported that the citizen was in an intoxicated state at the time of his disappearance.
