More than $3,600,000 and 1,981 firearms seized

More than 1,900 firearms were seized by the National Police in various operations carried out in the country, as well as the recovery of 700 vehicles with reports of theft and robbery.

According to Deputy Commissioner Matías Batista, head of the Don Bosco police zone, they seized 811 pistols, 463 revolvers, 135 shotguns, 125 rifles, 44 rifles, 19 submachine guns, 5 mini Uzis, 5 AK-47 rifles and 374 pellet guns.

He said that they also seized 76,321 ammunition, and recovered 700 vehicles with reports of theft and robbery, in addition to seizing 3,659,641.86 in cash.
