Two assailants arrested by neighbors and police, after stealing two motorcycles in two hours

José David Morínigo and Roberto Carlos Salinas, are the ones apprehended and placed at the disposal of the Public Ministry.

The first bicycle was stolen while they were circulating, on foot, through the Kennedy neighborhood. And according to the police report they immediately painted it blue (black was the original color). Later, already transported on the brand new stolen motorcycle, and armed, they stole the second motorcycle.

Neighbors called the police, who undertook the search together with them, until they spotted the fugitives who entered a small forest in the area. After the neighborhood police delegation deployed, they finally found the bandits, arrested and made available to the prosecution.

“Thanks to the union of neighbors with police officers, it was possible to apprehend these two individuals who alter the security of the neighborhood,” said Deputy Commissioner Hector Espinola, who stressed that the cooperation is yielding very positive results for the neighborhood.
