The play tells seven stories that reflect a reality that is lived in many parts of the world, obviously, also in the country. The actresses who will go on stage are Patricia Hinojosa, Mónica Ábrego, Daniela Hinojosa, Mariam Vargas, Valkiria Perales, Rusefi Ayala, Mariana Higueras and Rosse Mary Ayala.
This group of actresses will play seven women surrounded by different forms of manipulation that, regardless of social class, manages to come together to form an association and fight against gender violence. However, everything will take a sharp turn and things will get out of control.
“The character I play is part of my personal history. It was complicated because I never thought that Valeria, as a character, would come looking for me to tell her story, ”says Mariana Higueras, who believes that addressing the issue of violence can save lives.
Daniela Hinojosa, who plays Alondra, says that at first it was difficult for her to understand her character, and it was a long road to do so. “I learned to love her. The last time I spoke to Alondra, she told me to show women that they must not allow, for any reason, what was done to her,” she comments.

The theme and explicit scenes are not suitable for children under 15 years of age. It is a daring proposal and, in addition to a cast of the highest acting level, it also has its own song, composed by Calvo De Herrera. The music will be heard in the voices of renowned singers Luis Farza and Natalia Carrasco.
The director, who returns to theater after seven years, points out that the project was born in a therapeutic way to return to the stage and feel the adrenaline of art again. “Besides, it’s a way to warm up engines for a movie that’s coming later,” he anticipates. He adds that he is already thinking of a second season of Tertulias malditas, this time to visit remote neighborhoods and accompany the play with a preventive workshop on gender violence.
