Amapá: with 88.91% counting, Clécio leads the dispute

Find out who are the candidates for governor of Pernambuco

The counting of votes for governor began in Amapá. So far, Clécio (Solidariedade) is ahead with 53.12% of the valid votes. Jaime Nunes (PSD) is in second place, with 43.04% of valid votes.

Clécio is 50 years old, born in Belém, graduated in geography and is a high school teacher. He has already been councilor and mayor of Macapá, in two terms. He was also the state’s Secretary of Education. This will be the first time he has run for state executive. The deputy on the ticket will be the federal public servant and deputy senator, Antônio Teles Júnior (PDT), 39 years old.

Current deputy governor, Jaime Nunes is 63 years old, is from Macapá, and works as a businessman. He holds a bachelor’s degree in law and was president of Sebrae-AP. He will have as his deputy on the plate the doctor Liliane Albuquerque (PTB), 48 years old.
