During the demonstration, a person injured by a stone to the head was preliminarily reported, however Nashieli Ramírez, commissioner of the Mexico City Human Rights Commission (CDHCM), reported a white balance: no major damage or injured people serious.
“It is a white balance, we do not have more than slight attention to people because of the sun and because of the walk, some incidents of direct action by colleagues from the black bloc that did not escalate other than for pints and intervention issues in some buildings ”, he said in a message to the media.
This was confirmed by Martí Batres, secretary of the city government, who pointed out the presence of 730 elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat during the demonstration.
With the participation of 4,000 demonstrators, the presence of one hundred organizers and “orange vests” from the @SeGobCDMX and 730 elements of @SSC_CDMX, successfully concluded the commemorative demonstration of October 2, 1968.
