Thousands march in CDMX for October 2; report white balance

During the demonstration, a person injured by a stone to the head was preliminarily reported, however Nashieli Ramírez, commissioner of the Mexico City Human Rights Commission (CDHCM), reported a white balance: no major damage or injured people serious.

“It is a white balance, we do not have more than slight attention to people because of the sun and because of the walk, some incidents of direct action by colleagues from the black bloc that did not escalate other than for pints and intervention issues in some buildings ”, he said in a message to the media.

This was confirmed by Martí Batres, secretary of the city government, who pointed out the presence of 730 elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat during the demonstration.

The contingent managed to continue their march through May 5 until they reached the Zócalo, where once again members of the black bloc threw stones and firecrackers at the fences in front of the National Palace, while the rest of the contingent continued the protest peacefully to end with a rally in the square
