SANTO DOMINGO.- Wellington Arnauddirector of the National Institute of Drinking Water and Sewage (INAPA) led a thanksgiving mass on the occasion of the institution’s 60th anniversary, where he pondered the advances in terms of drinking water and sanitation.
He also reiterated his commitment to those affected by Hurricane Fiona.
He thanked the support of President Luis Abinader, to ensure that every Dominican home receives drinking water in quantity, quality and pressure.
In the solemn act, Arnaud was accompanied by his wife Gabriela Rutinel de Arnaud and his eldest daughter, Gabi Arnaud.
“God put us here to contribute our grain of sand and continue doing this work, for the benefit of the Dominican people,” said Arnaud.
The Eucharist was officiated by Father Nelson Rafael Clark, at the First Cathedral of America, who thanked INAPA for its service and dedication to citizens, emphasizing that they carry on their shoulders the great responsibility of bringing life, through drinking water. and sanitation.
The activity was attended by Olmedo Caba, director of the Dominican Institute of Hydraulic Resources (INDHRI); René Mateo, deputy minister of the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, and other officials from various institutions.
Directors, deputy directors, heads of areas and INAPA collaborators were also present.
After the Eucharist, the executive director, Wellingon Arnaud, and directors of the institution, deposited a floral offering at the Altar of the Fatherland.
