Santo Domingo East.- As an act in a presidential pre-campaign, the activity led by the presidential candidate for the Dominican Liberation Party (PLD) Abel Martínez, with the PLD leadership of the three constituencies of Santo Domingo Este, in which hundreds of people gathered They were unable to enter the overcrowded facilities.
Before a crowd overflowing with enthusiasm, Abel thanked the entire leadership of the PLD, especially the presidents and presidents of intermediate committees, whom he defined as “the generals of this process for whom I ask for a standing ovation. You have energized this party, you have worked tirelessly; now it’s time for us to turn this great work on October 16, into the hope of Dominicans, into the hope of an entire people”.
“We begin to build hope with our work and on October 16 the path is opened for a renewed, enthusiastic and triumphant PLD to assume the reins of the National Palace; and I tell them: I will govern for you woman, for you young person, for you professional, for you family man, for you Dominican, because this Homeland is yours, this Homeland belongs to all of us who love the Dominican Republic”, expressed Abel Martínez, after which he was applauded by those present.
Citing the needs experienced by the Dominican people due to the detriment of main areas such as health, the high cost of food and the collapse of the educational system, among others, Abel assured that “all of this commits me to work without ceasing, with love , with strength, with energy, with enthusiasm, so that the future of the Dominican Republic is different”.
In the activity, the members of the Central Committee, Isabel de la Cruz, deputy; Juan Carlos Echavarría “Joselito”, deputy, José Ramón Cabrera, former deputy and Alfredo Martínez “El Cañero”, former mayor.
