The Minister of Education Yelitze Santaella announced that the vaccination scheme against covid-19 will be reinforced in students and teachers who start the 2022-2023 school term on October 3 and that it will be the first, after the pandemic, totally face-to-face.
“We are, in the region, within the 16 countries that have vaccinated all teaching staff and students, but, equally, we are going, together with the Ministry of Popular Power for Health, to also start the reinforcement in students and the reinforcement in teachers,” said the official this Sunday, October 2, in an interview with the state channel VTV.

He pointed out that, last year, when face-to-face classes were partially resumed, there was no case of massive contagion in schools thanks to biosecurity measures.
