Since early, several incomplete polling stations have been reported in different parts of the city due to a lack of polling station members. In Comas, a group of people made a collection in solidarity with the volunteers who made up the polling stations so that others can carry out their civic work.
The event took place at the Colegio Mi Buen Jesús where people, who for different reasons could not volunteer, organized to raise money in solidarity to buy breakfast for the three people who made up the table.
The last person to join was a young man who agreed to volunteer despite having a visual limitation. With his presence, the table was completed and thus the voting began.
“They should have come (the table holders), I had things to do, but I stayed”he said in an office with América TV.
In addition, he indicated that he will have to notify his family that he has agreed to volunteer and that he will stay until 5 pm.
It is worth mentioning that at this polling station No. 038677, neither holders nor substitutes arrived and the ONPE staff had to persuade the people who arrived.
