The former judge of the Federal Chamber of Buenos Aires Eduardo Freiler maintained that “the attack against the Vice President (Cristina Fernández) began much earlier”, he mentioned as an example “the stones he suffered in his office” in the Senate and framed Fernando Sabag Montiel’s attack as ” a part of a whole” after warning that “the Law for the Defense of Democracy is being violated”.
In radio statements, Freiler questioned “the delay in certain arrests or the loss of some evidence” when commenting on the investigation carried out by Judge María Eugenia Capuchetti and considered “worrying” that there are political leaders who deny the seriousness of the episode in terms of democratic affectation.
“The Law for the Defense of Democracy is being violated, a Vice President of the Nation is being attacked, there are voices that threaten President Alberto Fernández and the most worrying thing is that other political leaders say that there was no attack on democracy,” he said. the jurist to Somos Radio 530.
As for the Capuchetti investigation, Freiler said that “we all needed to have faster responses”, he mentioned that “the same judge who investigates this attack is the one who investigated” the attack with stones against the office of Cristina Kirchner and recalled that some people who had been prosecuted for the episode of the stones were later “discharged” by the Chamber.
