John Paul Matthewsrepresentative of male skateboarding, was the first Argentine athlete to compete in the 12mos. South American Games (ODESUR) that began this Saturday in the city of Asunción, capital of Paraguay.

On the other hand, Ailín Arzúa, a native of Vicente López, was left out, registering a cumulative score of 54.99 and finishing tenth among the twelve competitors who started.

The Brazilian Gabriela Mazetto was the best classified, with a score of 141.33.
