The Superior Electoral Court (TSE), in partnership with the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF), promotes today (30), a tweet for #PazNasEleições. “The action mobilizes Brazilian football and is part of the Peace in Elections campaign, launched last week,” the Court said.
The campaign makes a comparison between this year’s election and a field competition. The proposal is to encourage the electorate to vote with freedom and respect and to keep violence out of the electoral dispute. “These two popular festivals must be peaceful”, highlighted the TSE.
The videos and spots campaign began to be shown last week through radio and television stations and will be broadcast until next Sunday (2), day of the first round of elections. The tweet started at 9:30 am.
