The attorney, Margarita Cabello, announced that once she receives the draft of the new instructions for Esmad, which will now be called the National Unit for Dialogue and Maintenance of Order (UNDMO), the manual will be reviewed by the entity to determine if it conforms to the law and, if so, they will enforce it.
During his visit to Medellin, where the Regional Space for the Promotion of the Rights of Social Leaders participated, the Bajo Cauca Antioquia Chapter stressed that he has only known excerpts from this instruction that will determine the new actions of this group.

“We are an institution that makes public servants respect the legal provisions that have carried out the corresponding procedure, be it instructions or law, We will look at it and if it conforms to the law, it is up to the Attorney General’s Office to enforce it,” said Cabello.
The draft warns that the new police unit will only intervene in extreme cases of disturbance of public order, in addition to refraining from responding with insults, “the right to public demonstration prevails over the right to a good name that is affected by offensive expressions , shocking, shocking, indecent, scandalous or eccentric. Therefore there should be no reaction to such insults or slander.”
The official added that from the control entity they advance investigations of the previous demonstrations to determine whether the public force or the demonstrators failed to comply or exceeded their actions, every time you want to guarantee “balance and tranquility”.
