“Any decision to proceed with the annexation of the Ukrainian regions of Donetsk, Lugansk, Kherson and Zaporizhia will have no legal value and deserves to be condemned”, emphasized the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterresthis Thursday, November 29.
He stressed that this movement by Russia represents “a dangerous escalation” of the conflict with Ukraine that should not be accepted. The official said, at a press conference, that the annexations violate the United Nations Charter and go against “everything that the international community must defend.”
