Death certificate: Queen Elizabeth II died of “old age”

On September 8, Queen Elizabeth II of England died. According to the death certificate, the 96-year-old monarch’s cause of death was “old age.”

The document published by the National Archives of Scotland also indicates that he died at 3:10 p.m. (local time in Scotland), at Balmoral Castle.

The remains of Elizabeth II rest in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. They were taken there on September 19. Her reign lasted 70 years.
