“The Nation will begin with the restoration of the Materno Infantil and the Siberia house, we will continue with the pavilions”, assured the president through his Twitter account.

The leader of the capital defended that the infrastructure could be demolished since the historical complex of 22 buildings was historical heritage, but not conservation. “The San Juan de Dios is a public university complex, it has been in ruins for 20 years falling down without any investment cent, it is the first time in years that we have a heritage management and protection plan for all the 22 buildings of the complexLopez said then.

However, the Special Management and Protection Plan (PEMP) of the Urban Development and Renewal Company (ERU) allowed maintenance works will be carried out and fitting out of most of the health center buildings.

The López administration, for its part, has budgeted for at least eight hospital buildings to come into operation by 2024.
