The electoral authority must thoroughly investigate whether the governor of Campeche, Layda Sansores, committed infractions for the disclosure of videos related to alleged crimes by the party leader of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI), Alejandro Moreno.
The decision comes after the Electoral Court of the Judicial Power of the Federation (TEPJF) revoked the agreement of the Technical Contentious Unit of the National Electoral Institute, which had dismissed the complaints of the tricolorarguing that there was an injunction in progress to prevent the disclosure of materials in which he was mentioned as possibly responsible for electoral crimes.
Moreno and the tricolor filed a complaint against the governor of Campeche, the general director of the Radio and Television System of that state and Morena for the expressions broadcast in various broadcasts of the program Jaguar Tuesday. They denounced slander, personalized promotion, electoral promotion, violation of the best interests of children, gender-based political violence and lack of duty of care.
The superior chamber ordered the technical unit to admit the complaint so that it could investigate whether the expressions denounced sought to slander various members of the PRI, including its national president, in order to influence this year’s electoral processes, above all because, in order to To reach that conclusion, it is necessary to make the substantive pronouncement.
In another matter, the TEPJF determined that the president and the secretary of administration of the then Force for Mexico used resources without authorization from the party’s settlement administrator, for which they must return the amount (there was unofficial talk of 33 million), and the intervener will proceed legally accordingly.
