New Credit Mivivienda: Know how to access the mortgage loan without a credit history

The (MVCS) reported that 36,123 families accessed a home between January and August of this year through the housing programs provided by the State. In that sense, the dream of owning a home can come true with the New Mivivienda Credit, but will I qualify for the benefit if I do not have a credit history?

It should be noted that the New Credit Mivivienda is a mortgage loan that allows you to buy any house, build on your own land or independent air and improve your home.

This credit financed by the Mivivienda Fund (FMV) is channeled through Intermediary Financial Institutions (IFI) to a beneficiary who meets the established requirements.

The value of the chosen home must be between S/ 65,200 and S/ 464,200.

How can I access the New Mivivienda Credit if I have no credit history?

According to the Mivivienda Fund, if you do not have a credit history, you can opt for programmed savings in financial entities.

This measure allows you to save to complete the initial fee and thus you will also demonstrate the ability to pay behavior.

Depending on the months of scheduled savings, the financial entity will make the evaluation and once you comply with depositing on time, you will be able to qualify for the New Mivivienda Credit.

How to apply for the New Mivivienda Credit?

To request the New Mivivienda Credit you must follow the following steps:

  • Request qualification: Request affiliated financial entities to evaluate your payment capacity and ask for programmed savings.
  • Search for housing: It can be through the search engine of the official page, real estate developers, real estate portals, financial entities or any other certified means.
  • Choose housing: Keep in mind that if you choose a project that is sustainable, you will be granted an additional bonus to the initial one.
  • Acquire the home: Once your credit is approved by the financial institution, you can now own it.

How much is the Good Payer Bonus?

One of the great benefits of this credit is the Good Payer Bonus (BBP). The Peruvian State provides this economic aid for the payment of the initial fee. It is non-refundable, that is, it is not returned.

In addition, if the beneficiary decides to acquire an eco-sustainable home, they are granted the Sustainable Mivivienda Bonus, whose current value is S/ 5,400 and allows them to pay a higher initial fee for the purchase of the property, since it is added to the Good Payer Bonus.
