They ask to channel the Mula River before it overflows and floods several communities

Residents of the Concepción and Solano sectors, as well as the Guayacanes on January 20 in the district of Bugaba, province of Chiriquí, assured that they were concerned about the strong flooding of the Mula River, which is threatening to take away several homes for what request it be channeled before a tragedy occurs.
One of the residents said that they are asking the authorities to take care of solving this before it gets worse.
“We hope that the authorities intervene before the Barranco collapses”
According to Solano’s representative, some evaluations have already been carried out to try to verify this and help the population, while these problems will be verified this afternoon, since a complete Paredón needs to be done and reinforced.
He added that at the moment it is not possible to work since there is currently a flood of the river. At the moment he said that they are working little by little with a tractor and a shovel because the machines are undergoing maintenance and about $2,000 are required to fix them and complete the work on this river.
