In the last few hours, the URSEA Board of Directors presented its monthly report referring to Import Parity Prices (PPI), corresponding to the moving month that goes from August 26 to September 25, 2022.
The URSEA takes into account variables such as the international price of a barrel of oil and distribution margins.
In this sense, the Unit determines in its report that, for the month of October, Super 95 gasoline should drop by 3.12 pesos, so it should go from the current 77.88 pesos per liter to 74.76 pesos, which would mean a 4% reduction.
While diesel 50-S should increase 0.81 pesos; going from the current 64.99 pesos to 65.80 pesos in October. That is, 1.2% more.
In any case, in the next few hours the government will have to define the new values for fuels, based on the URSEC report, so that they come into force as of October 1st.
