The Provisional Measure (MP) 1,118/2022, which gives subsidies to renewable energy (wind and photovoltaic) and grants tax credits to the fuel sector, expired this Tuesday (27).
The text ended up without consensus for voting after, at the last minute, during the vote in the Chamber of Deputies, the rapporteur of the matter, deputy Danilo Forte (União-CE), included in the text an excerpt that increases the price of the electricity bill.
The news was poorly received by the senators, who ended up letting the MP lapse. The session for voting on the text was called for yesterday (26) by the president of the House, Rodrigo Pacheco (PSD-MG), but was later cancelled.
The next session for voting on MPs in the Senate will be next Tuesday, October 4th. According to the Presidency of the House, the session will analyze, among other proposals, the MP 1.119/2022which extends until November 30 the deadline for the migration of federal civil servants to the supplementary pension scheme.
