Within the framework of the elections this Sunday, October 2, the Tacna Decentralized Office of Electoral Processes (ODPE) received the electoral material that will be used in the 2022 Regional and Municipal Elections.

The electoral material will allow the installation of the 974 polling stations that will be distributed in 142 locations voting of the 28 districts and eight populated centers where a total of approximately 287,320 eligible voters in Tacna will vote.
Material for three moments
The electoral material received consists of 957 packages of suffrage material that contain: ballot papers, electoral records, materials for the three moments of the day (installation of the table, suffrage and counting), holograms, the kit of supplies, tablets and protective equipment for the members of table, amphora, voting booths, among others.
In addition, said material is grouped, bagged, labeled and packed in boxes for each voting table and with security tape, strictly complying with security protocols. against COVID-19 established by the electoral body.
Deployment to provinces
The electoral material arrived at the ODPE facilities around 7:30 p.m. this Monday, September 26 and was received by the head of the ODPE Tacna, Fiorella Jiménez Aguilar. The deployment of the voting material to the voting centers in the provinces of Candarave, Tarata, Jorge Basadre and Tacna, will take place in the coming days.
