INSS acquires Funeral Home Don Bosco after alleged financial problems of its owners

The Don Bosco funeral home, owned by Guillermo Castillo and Violeta Castillo, would have passed into the hands of the Nicaraguan Social Security Institute (INSS), a month and a half ago, after presenting financial problems that forced its owners to sell the company to said State institution. confirmed to the press business-related sources.

The sources reported that after the sale of the funeral home, its owners left Nicaragua and the clients were notified to report to the INSS offices to “update the contracts” that are still in force.

Although the owners have not publicly reported the transfer of the business to the INSS, the sources have two hypotheses: the first is that the funeral home declared “bankruptcy” to the point that its bank accounts were frozen.

Another of the sources differed from that assumption and rather assured that the company was solvent and its owners decided to sell it. “As far as I was aware, the Don Bosco funeral home did not declare bankruptcy, it was that (the owners) negotiated and sold to the INSS,” she said.
