After a report from the San Pedro de Chonchocoro prison in La Paz was made public, in which warns that there is “a price for life” by Misael Nallar Viveros, the main accused of the murder of three uniformed men, the justice set his hearing for this Tuesday in which his request for transfer to Palmasola will be discussed.
It was the Head of Security of the La Paz prison, Orlando Revollo, who detailed in the report sent to the director of that prison that Nallar, detained in block B, allegedly he would be being extorted and receiving threats of death because he would have refused to buy equipment and machinery of jobs requested by some inmates.
“Likewise, there would be strong rumors that they would be generating ec appreciationsonomics within the penitentiary, putting a price on the life of the inmate (Misael Nallar) and as a protection measure it was decided to control periodically and have the contactor physically and visually by guards from block B”, details the report that was made on September 6, but was only recently revealed to the media.
Given these extremes, Carlos Antelo, one of Nallar’s lawyers, said that the threats against his client have been taking place since he arrived at the San Pedro de Chonchochoro prison, for which he stated that your transfer to Palmasola must be immediate to protect your life.
“Nallar always received threats from the Chonchochoro inmates and never had them from Palmasola. They said: this camba in this prison does not last even two days. After this report was made public, the lawyers of the relatives of those murdered in Porongo, Jessica Echeverría and Juan Pablo Ibáñez, were notified this afternoon by the judge of La Guardia Rodrigo Aldo Vedia Espinoza, to present themselves at the virtual hearing of Misael Nallar Viveros.
Nallar’s hearing was set for 3:30 p.m. this Tuesday, September 27, and in it The transfer request of the Chonchochoro detainee will be resolved from La Paz to Palmasola, from Santa Cruz. This hearing was supposed to take place on September 20, but it was postponed by Judge Vedia and this afternoon it was learned that it was rescheduled for tomorrow.
Echeverría indicates that the report of the alleged threats against the main accused of the triple assassination of Porongo was leaked by his lawyers with the purpose of obtaining his transfer to Santa Cruz. However, he takes away the credibility of that document and indicates that “for security” Nallar should continue to serve his 180 days of preventive detention in La Paz.
“What we request as a defense of the victims is that the detention in Chonchocoro be maintained because that is the maximum security prison. Nallar represents a danger to society and the relatives of the victimss,” he noted.
The victims of this violent event that took place on June 21 They are: Sergeant Major Eustaquio Olano, Sergeant 2nd Alfonso Chávez and the Gacip volunteer, Daniel Candia Orihuela.
For this murder they are already detained: Misael Nallar in the Chonchocoro prison in La PazWiden Nallar in Palmasola de Santa Cruz, and Jassir Góngora is also in this same prison. The others implicated are: Rodrigo Gonzáles Arrázola and Esteban Beltrán Muñoz, the first is defending himself in freedom and the other is detained in Palmasola.
