Nicaraguan dictatorship supports Russian invasion in Ukraine, in speech at the UN

The Government of Nicaragua expressed solidarity this Monday with the “great battle” that Russia is waging in Ukraine, with “the admirable resistance and fair development of the People’s Republic of China,” and advocated the establishment of a multipolar world.

Nicaragua, governed by the Sandinista Daniel Ortega, also expressed solidarity with Cuba, Iran, Palestine and Venezuela during the 77th Session of the United Nations General Assembly being held in New York City.

He also called on those countries, plus Belarus, Syria, among others, that “it is time to remain united” to fight “all the magnificent, colossal battles that we are sure will result in the most sublime and supreme triumph of all time: another world that is already indispensable and cannot be postponed”.

During his speech, the Nicaraguan Foreign Minister, Denis Moncada, sent a “solidarity and commitment hug with the worthy and brave Venezuela, with the heroic Cuba, with the historic and noble battles of the Palestinian people, (and) the Islamic Revolution of the Iranian families ”.

Also with “the continuous and great battle of the Russian Federation against fascism and for security, integrity and peace, which will continue, we have no doubt, reaping victories,” he added.

Likewise, Moncada sent a “hug of solidarity to the admirable resistance and fair development of the People’s Republic of China, which generates so much discomfort, concern and envy to the enemies of the common good.”

“ANOTHER WORLD IS ALREADY INDISPENSABLE”

“It is time to remain united with Syria, the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic, Belarus, the peoples of Asia, Africa and our Caribbean America, fighting all the magnificent, colossal battles that we are sure will result in the most sublime and supreme triumph of all time. : another world that is already indispensable and cannot be postponed”, he stated.

According to Moncada, “a better world, multipolar, fair, ethical, spiritual and material, is already being generated, and we are here to continue creating it, and to defend it.”

During his speech, the Nicaraguan foreign minister charged against the United States and the European Union for the “colonial and imperial greed and greed” that “over the centuries” has been raging, “attacking, intervening, invading, occupying our sacred lands ” of “this wounded continent”.

He argued that these “blatant and violent greedy, ambitious, avaricious practices” of achieving “a global society governed and administered by those who have committed and exhibited, with horrific and astonishing freshness, their criminality and the greatest looting of the riches of our common home ”, remains in these times.

He considered, therefore, that “it is time to bring the right of the people closer to a United Nations Organization that represents us all, and that does not submit to the designs of any imperialist power”, in order to “enforce the world of dialogue and peace, justice and solidarity”.

REJECTS US SANCTIONS

Moncada also rejected the sanctions that the United States has imposed on countries allied with Nicaragua.

“It is time to continue rejecting the criminal blockades, the aggressions, called sanctions, illegal, arbitrary, illicit, which highlight the perversion of an imperialist and capitalist system and model, which continues and intends to continue punishing” and bleeding the world dry. , in sight and docile patience of the organizations that should defend it”, he reproached.

Moncada said that “it is time to say enough to the hypocritical imperialism that politicizes, falsifies and denigrates human rights that they themselves violate and deny every day.”

“Imperialism and its coercive, anti-life actions, in all spheres, which by themselves and for themselves, are contrary to international law,” he added.

He also asked to “stop, with the help of all, the invasions, aggressions, occupations, of so many territories”, without specifying, and put an end to the deadly sins that base the intervention and interference in the internal affairs of each country.

Likewise, he advocated asserting the principle of sovereign equality of States in all international organizations and forums, “so that this multipolar and non-aligned world that we have sought so much, becomes a reality, is strengthened, grows and includes us all. ”.
