During the rally held at the foot of the Angel of Independence, the demonstrators spoke out for a new law and public security strategy at the national level.
The activist Adrián Lebarón said he was skeptical of the process for the case of the murder of his daughter and four grandchildren committed on November 4, 2019, because – he pointed out – although there are people detained, none of the alleged culprits have been sentenced and he even warned that there may be people accused of crimes they did not commit.
“Many people say that I am an activist and they attack me or that I am looking for a political position and they attack me, or I am a priest and they attack me, everywhere I receive blows.
“They killed the wrong daughter because she put me in this ring and I want to represent those daughters who murder, those sons, those parents who are left alone. I want to continue to be a voice for those who suffer, for those who hurt, on the path to peace, ”she said.
