The report prepared by the Department of Epidemiology of the Ministry of Health, reveals that in the world to date there are 293,165,271 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 5,467,961 deaths for a lethality of 2%.
In Panama, 503,407 confirmed cases of Covid-19 are reported, of which 3,259 are new cases. In the last 24 hours, three deaths were reported and two from previous dates were updated for an accumulated of 7,445 deaths and a fatality of 1.5%.
The cases of recovered amount to 477,289, of which 627 are new recovered. In the last hours, 19,521 tests were applied for a positivity of 16.7%.
Active cases add up to a total of 18,763, of which 18,448 are in home isolation and 225 hospitalized. Those who are in isolation are divided into 18,191 at home and 257 in hotels. There are 195 hospitalized in the ward and 30 in the ICU.
