Deliveries are made in coordination with local authorities and community representatives.
In the case of Miches, deliveries were made Friday and Saturday through the mayor, Luz María Mercedes.
In El Seibo, another delivery was also made to the provincial governor, Irene Martínez, consisting of construction materials to be used in the repair of houses that were destroyed or semi-destroyed by the atmospheric phenomenon that passed through the Dominican Republic on Monday the 19th, hitting several provinces. from the east.
The coordination of donations is carried out by the Banreservas Volunteers, whose representatives travel to the most vulnerable communities, accompanied by executives from the financial institution.
Last Thursday the Bank announced a contribution of RD$100 million to assist, through its Volunteering, the localities declared in a state of emergency by President Luis Abinader, such as La Altagracia, La Romana, El Seibo, Samaná, Hato Mayor , Maria Trinidad Sanchez, Duarte and Monte Plata.

He added that as the executing arm of Banreservas’ social policies, the Volunteers continuously develop programs and plans to promote and protect the most vulnerable sectors of Dominican society.
He added that on this occasion the team and all the volunteer staff will be at the side of those who require support to restore their homes or provide them with food and other vital aid, due to the damage caused by Hurricane Fiona.
