Common Force, movement of Fernando Atria, joins Social Convergence

Common Force, a movement founded by the ex-conventional Fernando Atria, joined Social Convergence (CS), the community reported this Sunday in a statement. CS made the decision at the Central Committee session held yesterday.

“We have received with love and responsibility the will of the political movement Fuerza Comun to join Social Convergence,” said the party -in which President Gabriel Boric is a member- in the statement.

“Having deliberated on such a process, we have unanimously resolved our members to accept said request and welcome them to this socialist, feminist and environmentalist house, which we will work to continue strengthening in the coming time,” they added.

“The work for a happy, democratic country with full enjoyment and guarantee of rights, calls us to articulate the maximum political unity of the forces of change,” they added.

“We are summoned by the deep conviction that the diverse and wide range that makes up the bloc of government parties requires offering solid support to President Boric and his ministerial and territorial cabinet,” they maintained.
