The Ilumina project seeks to facilitate the opportunity of access to energy-efficient appliances for low-income families in a situation of energy poverty.
In a first activation, 30 families from the Remansito community were benefited, and in a second installment, 73 families from the Cerrito community were benefited. All of these families had the opportunity to replace their incandescent bulbs with LED bulbs in their homes.
Project invites local companies to participate
As part of the program, it is sought that more Paraguayan companies adopt a new business model that reduces their printing on paper and the sending of physical invoices, replacing them with invoices in electronic format.
The Fundación Paraguaya invites companies to adopt the electronic format, taking into account its considerable impact in reducing carbon emissions to the environment and, at the same time, it produces a saving of resources that could be redirected, in a percentage, to the acquisition of LED lights, which are awarded to families in vulnerable situations and thus allow them to access devices with efficient electricity consumption technology.
Those companies that issue invoices and wish to expand the portfolio of clients that migrate to the electronic invoicing format can contact Lorena Benítez Sartorio at 0972 412841 or write to the following email [email protected], who will gladly advise them to be part of this beautiful program.
The entrance “Ilumina by Power to change”: efficient consumption devices for vulnerable families was first published in diary TODAY.
