On October 2, the first round of elections, more than 156 million voters will be able to go to the polls to elect the President of the Republic, governors, senators and federal, state and district deputies.
With one week to go before the election, voters can consult the polling place in advance and avoid any inconvenience.
At the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) website, the citizen can search, informing the CPF or voter registration number, the date of birth and the mother’s name. The result will indicate the numbers of the polling station, the polling station and the address of the polling place. The same search can also be done on the websites of regional electoral courts.
Through the e-título application, in addition to knowing the polling location, the voter can also activate the cell phone location and be guided to their electoral zone through a virtual map.
For voters who have their biometrics registered, the e-title also serves as an identification document to vote, replacing the paper title or other photo identification document. According to the TSE, about 118 million people, corresponding to 75% of the electorate, are registered using biometrics.
Anyone interested can download the tool for free, which is available in the app stores for both Apple and Android operating systems.
On October 1, the day before the first round, the download of the application will be suspended and released only on the day after the election. In the second round, it will be possible to download the application only until October 29, the date before the second round.
The last option to consult the polling place is to use the TSE Chatbot. To access the virtual assistant, the voter can save the number +55 61 9637-1078 in the WhatsApp contact list and start the virtual conversation with the application.
