The sounds and expectations in programming
This Sunday also begins the period of dissemination of materials on radios EBC. The songs will now be broadcast throughout the broadcasters’ programming until October 10th. This will allow popular voting to take place within that period.

“The musician wins an exhibition that already allows the projection of the careers of these artists”, says the festival coordinator.
In fact, Regotto testifies that the tradition of the festivals of EBC over time, it has guaranteed beautiful paths for artists who qualify for the decisive stages.
The works are divided into five categories: Radio MEC Award for Best Classical Music; Radio MEC Award for Best Instrumental Music; Radio MEC Award for Best Children’s Song; National Radio Award for Best Popular Music; and Alto Solimões National Radio Award for Best Regional Music.

The selection of songs took into account the artistic quality of the work (music, lyrics, score and interpretation), the originality and the quality of the recording.
Now, in this third stage, the public can follow the broadcast and participate in the selection of the semifinalists. by popular vote on the internet until October 10th.
The announcement of the works that are still in the dispute takes place on October 11. The 15 finalist songs – three per category, five defined by the public and ten chosen by the Judging Committee – will be announced on November 5th. The songs remain on the broadcasters’ schedule until December 6, when the winners will be announced.
On the stage
The songs that reach the final compete for prizes in a show at Sala Cecília Meireles, in Rio de Janeiro. The event will announce the decision of the Music Festival 100 years of Radio in Brazil. The winning artists will receive trophies in each category.
Authors of competing works will be able to count on broadcasting on affiliated stations that are part of the Public Radio Networkas well as in other vehicles of the EBCsuch as TV Braziland its digital platforms.
