In yesterday’s protest, in the Military Field, dozens of officials were injured.
Although on this occasion there was a truce in the confrontations, the normalistas reinforced their demands to find their companions alive, after the events recorded on the night of September 26 and the early morning of September 27, 2014.
At the event, María de Jesús Tlatempa, mother of one of the missing normalistas, demanded that President Andrés Manuel López Obrador hold the Army accountable.
In addition, he requested to accelerate the extradition of Tomás Zerón de Lucio, former head of the Criminal Investigation Agency, currently in Israel.
The demand was accompanied by photographs that were placed on the floor, as an “exhibition”, such as that of former attorney Jesús Murillo Karam, author of the so-called “historical truth”; the former Secretary of National Defense, Salvador Cienfuegos, and the former Governor of Guerrero, Ángel Aguirre Rivero.
